9.29.12- Diamond in the Rough Mentoring Workshop

posted Sep 24, 2012, 7:54 AM by Tineka Rentie
We are still looking for young women between the ages of 18-21 to begin this journey with us. Women of Imagery would like to be able to provide these young women with the support they need to realize their dreams and live up to their full potential.  Women of Imagery's goal is to provide personal growth and development workshops targeted to this age group, group mentoring, and financial support to help them meet their goals.  If you are between the ages of 18-21 and would like to participate as a Mentee in Diamond in the Rough, download the application below.  You can also email Tamela Ross (tross@womenofimagery.org) with your name, phone number, and email address and she will get in contact with you.

This Saturday, September 29th, at the Southeast Library (6242 Swope Parkway, KCMO 64130) from 12:00p.m.- 2:00 p.m. we will be hosting our next Diamond in the Rough Workshop.  This will be the first official workshop where young women will be able to submit application for this dynamic program, set their goals to be accomplished over the next 6 months and become eligible for financial assistance to meet those goals.

If you have any questions about signing up for this initiative, please email Tamela Ross (tross@womenofimagery.org) or call 816.204.7570.
